Gun Ghaol are the world’s only Gaelic metalcore band.
Started in 2023 by vocalist Colin Stone as a TikTok channel, the project became a performing act in 2025 due to a growing fanbase.
Now a five-piece, Gun Ghaol is Colin (vocals), Paul Martin & Ewan Cruickshank (guitars), Finlay Cable (bass), and Stuart Bradley (drums).

Colin spent much of his formative years on the Isle of Lewis, one of the heartlands of the Gaelic language. It’s where half his family is from, and it’s a language he communicates and works in.
Combining his love of metalcore with his heritage, Gun Ghaol was born. -
It translates to ‘Without Love’.
