Gun Ghaol add festival dates to 2026 calendar

Gun Ghaol have announced two new festival dates to their 2026 run.

Gaelic metalcore will make their English debut at Get Heavy Fest, taking place in Gateshead on Sunday 16th August, before heading to Fife Metal Fest in Dunfermline on Saturday 26th September.

Both dates come ahead of the band heading out on their first headline tour in November,

Gun Ghaol will hit Inverness, Thurso, Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh, with a slot at Glasgow’s Core. festival squeezed in the middle.

The Edinburgh show had to be upgraded due to demand and will likely sell out well ahead of time, with Inverness and Dundee not far behind.

Speaking about the tour, vocalist Colin said:

“We’ve been wanting to make our first appearance in England for a while, so we’re incredibly grateful to Get Heavy Fest for inviting us down.

“Similarly we were yet to play Fife, and it’s a sick lineup for the show in September.

“And we’re not done yet either – we’re hoping to announce a couple more shows before the year’s over.”
