gun ghaol announce first 2026 show

Glasgow will host the first Gun Ghaol show of 2026.

Gaelic metalcore returns to the city on Friday 6 March, playing alongside Kuro, This House We Built, and headliners Glamour of the Kill at Slay Glasgow.

It’ll be the second time Gun Ghaol have played their home city, with the first coming in a sold-out Halloween bonanza with French noise rock legends Coilguns. 

Speaking about the show, vocalist Cailean said:

“Glasgow is one of the greatest music cities in the world, and we saw that for ourselves last year.

“To have people screaming the words back at us was incredible, and we can’t wait to do it all over again with such a stacked lineup. It’ll be worth coming out early for.

“Tha sinn air a bhith a’ coimhead air adhart ri barrachd chuirmean airson ùine mhòr.

“Tha e math a bhith a’ sgrìobhadh ceòl ùr, ach chan eil e faisg air an aon ìre ri bhith a’ cluich nan òran seo air beulaibh luchd-èisteachd - gu h-àraidh ann an Glaschu.

“Bidh sinn a’ cluich an toiseach no an dàrna àit’, mar sin bi cinnteach gum bi sibh ann tràth!”
